It's a sexy add-on when users could register to add a notice like a News on the bottom or anywhere of screen. You could use "News Ticker" for advertising purpose.

New Tickers is used to create a large notice on the screen with the big red inscription of thread name. Depending on the administrator's decision, we could have many news floating under that. This plug-in is especially efficient with newest threads. When a user joins a forum, they could immediately know what happened when the news have displayed.
